Why does a PC warn of Hard Disk failure and tell me to run backup? - Microsoft Community

if any computer's OS(my OS is windows7) gives a warning for hard disc failure and says to backup files and repair/replace ur harddisk. then whats da reason behind hd failure and what da solution? pls help me out. and ami bios says pri master hard disk sta
