[VPN - DNS problem] can't resolve hostnames once connected to VPN - VPN - Networking

So even though I didn't get assistance, I wanted to post the solution that I came up with in case others search and find this thread. There were two network connections - the SonicWall VPN and the local LAN. Instead of putting DNS server IP's in the Sonic
