Sync Outlook 2011 for Mac Calendar with iPhone and iPad calendar - Microsoft Community

I have MS Office for Mac 2011 (University) installed on my iMac with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63) all seems to work ok except that I am unable to sync my iPhone and iPad calendar with Outlook. I seem to be missing a step which is not evident? Please could
