[Solved] how to get out of aptio setup utility loop in Windows 8.1

Has anyone ever resolved the aptio setup utility loop? I woke up with a locked screen on my asus and when I rebooted I opened up in the aptio setup utility loop. ... From reading some of the google hits it looks like when a serious hardware problem occurs
