Run .exe from vba with string parameter - Toolbox for IT Groups

Hi. I wrote a matlab code, deployed it it .exe. I want to run it from VBA. The code has string input parameter. How do I run this .exe using Shell function and how do I pass the parameter? I will be very grateful for any helpful response.
