Installing Oracle Sun Java (JDK) and setting JAVA_HOME in Ubuntu

installing java in ubuntu ... I’m not an Ubuntu user, but in Debian we have “java-package”, this is an easy to use tool with which you can just create a deb package from a downloaded version of the JRE/JDK.
