Installing Net Framework 4.0 - Microsoft Community

If I install the latest net framework 4 does it replace all the others or do I still need net framework 1.0 1.1 2.0 3.0 and 3.5 do I have to have all of them in order for .net programs to run. this ... Support and updates for Windows XP are no longer avai
