I am getting "Error loading operating system" when I boot win 7 iso with USB what could be wrong?

If Win7 works then try EasyBCD (get the free version you can use any email address tehy don't check). See if it can find your linux installation and fix the boot files. Looks harder than it is. Really just a few clicks. http://neosmart.net/wiki/display/EB
