Can I install 4gb RAM on Acer Aspire One D255?

I am looking to upgrade the ram on my netbook Acer Aspire One D255 from 1 gb to 4gb. I am running Windows 7 and have already enabled dual core processing on it but would like to know if my system will recognize the new amount of RAM. Also, should I stick
