API hooking revealed - CodeProject - CodeProject - For those who code

Hello there, I'm trying to write a program to monitor other dll loads/injections. I tried to monitor VirtualProtect function in Kernel32.dll but, I dont seem to be able to hook that function. Is this a known issue or am I just doing something wrong?
